Before You Visit

We’d like to answer a few questions you might have as you decide to be our guest this Sunday at James Memorial.

1. What time are your services?

Sunday School begins at 9:45am. Our worship service begins at 11:00am.

2. How do I get there?

Our address is: 2125 Ewing Ave in Gadsden, AL. This is also known as the “Old Highway 411”. You can see a map by clicking here

3. How long are the services?

Our services last about 65 minutes and contain music and teaching from the Bible that will apply directly to your life.

4. Is there a dress code?

No. Feel free to dress in clothes that are comfortable for you. You can “dress up” if you want, or wear casual clothes. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.

5. Will I be singled out if I’m new?

Absolutely not. You are our guest. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible. So you can feel free to be anonymous.

6. What about my kids?

James Memorial has an exciting Children’s ministry where your kids will be taught the Bible in age-appropriate classes. Our goal is to make church on Sunday the best hour of your kid’s week. We also have a safe, clean nursery for bed babies and toddlers available. Please ask any greeter any questions you may have pertaining to our children's ministry. A greeter will be more than happy to escort you to our children's area and nursery.

7. Special Needs Guests

Our church is handicapped accessible. We have handicap parking available. You can enter the sanctuary through the Welcome Center which is all one level (no steps). You are also welcomed to use the canopy drop off on the side of the building. There, you will find friendly greeters to assist you in any way. They'll even park your vehicle! We also have a handicap accessible restroom on the first floor.

We have hearing amplification devices for those with hearing needs. An usher will be happy to give you one upon your request.
